This Water Filter Sand is a coarse-grade filtration media designed for use in FRP water filtration tanks and multi-media water treatment systems.

With a controlled 8/16 mesh particle size, the silica sand forms a stable filtration bed that assists with the physical filtration of sediment and suspended particles while maintaining good water flow through the system.

Commonly used as the first stage of an FRP filtration system, silica sand can be combined with activated carbon, water softener resin and other specialist filter media according to the required water treatment process.
